It squeels when i power brake????
I have 1979 corvette and i just got done putting a new torque converter in it cause i thought the old one was bad. I still have the same problem after the new converter is installed it squeels when i power brake it and when i do a (to the floor) launch. It sounds like a belt screeching but i have checked everything and its all tight. The tranny does not slip and shifts good. If anyone has every had this problem or thinks they know what is wrong I would sure appreciate your imput. thanks

Might sound stupid but if it was me and it sounded like a belt-i would remove 1 belt at a time and try it in the driveway i think you might find it to be one.Or at least an alternator bearing or ac bearing if equipped.I would like to no what you find though.
