Auto Antenna
How hard is it to replace an electric antenna in my 80 vette? I tried to drop the drivers side exhaust but it's all welded. Can it be done another way? Can it be held in place with just the nut on the top?

i removed and rebuilt my antenna on my 79, i just unbolted the rear hanger on the muffler and pulled it towards the center of the car and held it there with a bungee cord, ( i think i dropped the spare tire down for more room) it was still a tight fit working on antenna but it was do-able. wear safety goggles, when you start undoing it road crap starts falling 'good luck.
