Wise choise. The photos gave indications that the car has more rust tan the photos indicate. That diff crossmember look beyond safe use. For the money you can find nicer cars. I would rather replace paint an interior than have to deal with frame and cage rust. Surface rust is one thing however that car is a good example of rot/scale.

Good luck on your search and don't give up; there are many nice vettes out there waiting for a new owner.
