Second choice would be the LED lights, but only if they maintain the original look ... I don't really care for the LED lights I've seen so far that look like something a trucker would put on their rig. Some LED's that looked the same as the stock lights instead of just an array of small lights would be better I think.

Heck, I'd put them on the 68 if it was a nice bright light but looked factory.

That's what I have in my backup lenses, and they are much brighter than standard incandescent bulbs.

I tried a different set (only a cluster of 12 LEDs) for the taillights. They aren't as bright as the backups, but are still brighter than my (relatively new) incandescents.

Some pics in this post.

I would kill for a good hood strut kit, I have a one piece tilt front end and have to resort to using a giant stick to hold it up

Hood with a scoop, maybe similar to the new lingenfelter hood (http://www.westcoastcorvette.com/p-7...starcraft.aspx) something that followed the lines of a c3's body. I don't know how many people would be into that but I would love it

I want to see a one piece top that's not clear like an Astrotop and it needs to have a competent latching mechanism.

-New gas, brake and clutch Pedal Pads with C3 logo
-Hood Struts
-Shifter *****

Thanks!!!!!
My piece of advice:

Create a line of products (which i'd call 'lightweight replacements'...or 'one less half') dedicated to those who seek a drop of their vettes weight. You should give your customers:

1) Advice
2) a studied grade of perf increases related to the weight drops you're achieving.
3) custom parts
4) service.

examples:

race batteries instead of stock batteries.
alu radiators.
lightweight seats.
gutting t-tops and doors.
custom front and rear ends alu items.
lightweight wheels, calipers, rotors, engine ancillaries...etc etc.

There is a whole world of dedicated items to study, design, build and successfully sell...

On the other side, I'd definitely stay away from trying to sell bits and pieces of accessories where the market is extremely crowded and where large co's sell huge quantities of parts and can go strong on low price level platforms, putting small companies out of the market.

Oh Yea! Lingenfelter hood design or the Z06...

How about a mesh or louver grill in SS that would allow the molded in plate to be cut out for a full open look and side vent grills to match.

That's the ticket right there! I like the tinted top myself, but I hate their latching system. You would have to consult a patent attorney on this to be sure, but I *think* that if you were to make a one-piece top with the GM-style latches you wouldn't be in violation of their patent, since their patent is on a "universal" top that fits all years (because of the flexibility of their latching system).

I've said this before about these tops ... if someone were to make a one piece top like the astrotop, but with the factory style latches, they could sell twice as many as Thompson has ever sold, at twice the price. I haven't met anyone who doesn't like the look - but everyone seems to hate those damn plastic screwball crap they rigged up to hold it on. And if you did one in fiberglass that was just "ready to prime and paint" you'd sell even more.

Ready-to-install short hood with stinger styling like on the mid-years.

In my opinion the coolest hood anywhere is on a C2......
