New Product Idea'
Second choice would be the LED lights, but only if they maintain the original look ... I don't really care for the LED lights I've seen so far that look like something a trucker would put on their rig. Some LED's that looked the same as the stock lights instead of just an array of small lights would be better I think.
1157, 1156...ect Each for well under $10.00 depending on how many leds you want in each housing!!
Sorry for no link but if you go to there site you will like what you see!
That's what I have in my backup lenses, and they are much brighter than standard incandescent bulbs.
I tried a different set (only a cluster of 12 LEDs) for the taillights. They aren't as bright as the backups, but are still brighter than my (relatively new) incandescents.

Please let me know if you have any ideas or items you think are missing in the C3 aftermarket segment. Currently I am in the market research stage looking to see if there is enough interest and demand to start this line of products.
Thanks!!!!!
Create a line of products (which i'd call 'lightweight replacements'...or 'one less half') dedicated to those who seek a drop of their vettes weight. You should give your customers:
1) Advice
2) a studied grade of perf increases related to the weight drops you're achieving.
3) custom parts
4) service.
examples:
race batteries instead of stock batteries.
alu radiators.
lightweight seats.
gutting t-tops and doors.
custom front and rear ends alu items.
lightweight wheels, calipers, rotors, engine ancillaries...etc etc.
There is a whole world of dedicated items to study, design, build and successfully sell...
On the other side, I'd definitely stay away from trying to sell bits and pieces of accessories where the market is extremely crowded and where large co's sell huge quantities of parts and can go strong on low price level platforms, putting small companies out of the market.

or the Z06...How about a mesh or louver grill in SS that would allow the molded in plate to be cut out for a full open look and side vent grills to match.
I've said this before about these tops ... if someone were to make a one piece top like the astrotop, but with the factory style latches, they could sell twice as many as Thompson has ever sold, at twice the price. I haven't met anyone who doesn't like the look - but everyone seems to hate those damn plastic screwball crap they rigged up to hold it on. And if you did one in fiberglass that was just "ready to prime and paint" you'd sell even more.
