C3 Documentation

I have just started a new section on my website about the documentation that would have come with your car. Right now, I have 1977 pretty well finished because that is the year I happen to have the documents for. I will be adding the other years later as I add it to my collection. This is the link -

###Original owner ordered my 1978 SA 4 Speed thru Courtesy Chevrolet in Phoenix because California did not allow L-82 manual tranny vettes sold new....PO took delivery in Scottsdale...put 25 miles on Vette...then "sold" vette to La Jolla Motors in San Diego...and "re-purchased vette from La Jolla Motors...all paper transactions to get around the California ban...###

Your posting of the documentation was very nicely done! Thank you.

I have some factory documents for my '71's. They include original Corvette Order Copys from the fuel tank location. Original window invoice, Protect-0-plate w/warranty pamphlet & Dealer sales invoice, along with the rare blue certification engine assembly stamping & transmission assembly stamping.

I would love to have individual pictures of those ones. There is no need to do the battery warranty or wheel doc as they are the same as 77. Thanks.

That looks exactly like the battery brochure I found in my very early 77.

The Delco battery one was same for most all C3's...what is interesting is this one...it was in packet PO gave me in 1979....

Nothing on this in owners manual....and I just checked again in heater,A/C and defrost sections to be sure......so this is a supplement provided for 1978. The copy I have is original (Zerox) or mimograph...???
