Window motor dying???

Why does my window seem to stall when its 3/4 of the way up? Window goes down just fine and starts to go up just fine, but 3/4 of the way it slows down and barely makes it to the top stops. It is the original window motor, I think, could this be a sign that the motor is dying? Or, should I look at something else? Does the fact that I have replaced all the weather stripping and the outer window seal have anything to do with it?
Just seems that after a rebuild, cleanup and lube job the window should work smoothly. Idea's???
Make sure the spring is tensioned enough. The regulator gear should be all the way to it's end stop with the spring fully tensioned when you reconnect the motor to the regulator assembly. The motor doesn't seem strong enough to lift the window without the help of the spring. I learned this the hard way.
Good luck,
Tom
