Hi Folks
I am trying to fix all the bad things from the previous owner(s). The car has only one horn installed and it is on the drivers side. I want to put the other horn in as well. Any one know exactly where it goes. The horn that is therenow is bolted to a welded nut on the front brace, can't find another welded nut for the other horn. Are the horns joined together somehow? I looked in the parts manual and shop manuals that I have, it just shows the horns not how they are mounted. If anyone has a pic or knows how they are hooked up that would be a help
Need to know the year, my 78 only has one horn on the front. The other horn (alarm) is mounted in the inner fender well on the drivers side.
My 78 has two horns, one high and one low note mounted on the front by the headlamp vacuum cannister. One wire to each with a push on connector. The ground is made to the mounting bolt. It also has a horn in the fender well for the alarm.
Thats the way they are hooked up on mine but one was mounted with a bolt going through a welded nut and the other using a sheet metal screw. The welded may have fallen off, I looked but can't find any tell tale signs of the nut/weld marks.
