long springs

i removed the coil springs from the front end of my 73 stingray .they had a green tag that has MA and a number .i have not seen this tag in any of my catalogs i would like to replace the springs but im not sure what thay are. the car is a small block car and the springs are 16 inches unsprung. seems crazy long are they aftermarket or some kind of replacement springs. i would like to go with VBP springs but they are only 12 or 13 inches long unsprung. i dont want the snout to sit to low any info on the springs i have will be helpful.

The original springs have more coils than the aftermarket ones. The aftermarket ones have less coils, but are developed to have the same spring rate.

thanks stinger 12 do you know what springs come with the green MA tag 350s 550s or what ?
