Bleeder screw seats
The calipers are already stainless, but they've got some miles on them and the car is a driver, so I've been a while wire wheeling and bead blasting. The bleeders are out and getting replaced, but I've noticed some pitting and corrosion down around and on the bleeder seats.
Anyone know of a bleeder seat chamfering tool or something specifically made to clean bleeder seats up?
I just can't picture coating a Q tip with valve grinding compound and chucking it in a VS drill
Thanks fellers....
John
Personally, I just take the old bleeder and crank down a little harder on them and then put new bleeders in. Never had any leaks yet.
If it was just me, I'd run the bleeders down tight and just go with it.
I tend to be a lot more cautious when working on someones elses car and accepting payment.
Thanks
John
