Did anybody else watch parts of Cannonball on Sho time? Well if you did and you have a silver 75 like I do you could see what your car looked like in 1976 one year after it was made. I looked real close and the same things my car has wrong with it I swear I saw them on the movie #1 the pass side T-top was higher by at least 1/8 of an inch .The driver being nice and snug.
#2 the hood where it comes to the top did not match,And mine looks the same way. some one else watch this movie, and see if you see the smae things. It will help if you have A 75 also the sound the gave the car in editing is way off it sounds like a 427 or at least a big block. the movie is a B but hey Kung Fu is in it David Carrdinie and his brother.
Great movie! I grew watching those cannonball movies. I remember how much I want a Lamborghini after watching that movie. It might have been I wanted the two chicks in the tight clothes however. I believe one of them was Daisy from Dukes of Hazard.
I caught that movie last night, as well. It was the first time I have seen it. I was playing w/ matchbox cars with my 3 yr old son and channel surfing. When the silver vette appeared on the screen, he thought the guy in the movie stole my car. He ran to my wife and said "dad's car is gone" ! It was pretty funny.
At least yours didin't split in two behind the doors (or was that the Gumball Rally, I forget?).
Ever see the 'Cops' shorrt where the guy is running from the cop in the Nevads desert (real) in a C4, must be doing 100+ easy two lanes each way, all Semi in the right lane, one pulls into the left lane as he is approaching, cars slips side ways to the right, He T-bone the rear of a right Trailer, the C4 splits in two behind the drives seat, in the desert to the right. Guy gets up and waits for the cops. few scrapes, that's it. Amazing.

That was "The Gumball Rally", which was a far better movie IMHO.
FWIW I'm looking at a pic of my SA taken from a high angle rear perspective, and that same T-top issue is distinctly visible. I'd post it, but I can't scan anything just now because I haven't yet replaced the 2nd PoS HP officejet that failed on me.
