1975 turn signal problem

1975 turn signal problem

I have a 1975 vette and am trying to trace down a problem with the turn signal. My left turn signal works (and blinks outside and inside). My right turn signal has an issue where the exterior lights blink properly, however my interior blinker light does not work and I do not hear the relay "blinking" noise. Any thoughts or suggestions on what the problem could be? Any help or suggestions will be greatly appreciated.

Might want to change the blinker capsule that is located under the passenger lower pad. That's what I'd start with first. It is only about a $5 part at advance or autozone.

Thanks.........just for clarification, when you say under the passenger lower pad, do you mean under the dash?

Will the turn signals work at all, left or right, if the flasher is bad? (independent of the hazards)

How about unplugging the harmonica connection at the bottom of the column and cleaning up the leads?
