502 soon
Hello guys i am TJ from Norway. I'll try to write some english
I bought a fully restored 71 c3 454 on ebay to month ago. The motor had
too much comp 12-1-1,so i took it out to put in new pistons.
I took the motor apart and found som other failures. The oil pickup was
loose so the bearings were not getting any oil.
Then i found a crack on
the topp of the block between nr 1-2 on the right site The mechanics must have seen this because they have drilled a little on it to se how deep it goes.
the watercooling was leaking
So i am thinking of buying a new zz502 and a 5 speed tko 0.64 OD my gears 4,56 Tiers are 285-40-18
is there sombody who has any experience with these numbers

Welcome to the forum, and you're typing of English was just fine.
That sounds like a great combination of engine and transmission. Both will work in your car, though there will always be small little details to work out.
I'm sure someone that has a large cube big block in their C3 will chime in soon.
