Hey gang enough of you have done muffler up-grades, does the pipe come on the muffler or is the tail piece and the 45 turn from the pipe separate. What do you think Mufflers from one place and the tail pipe s and the turns from A shop.

Flowmaster doesn't make a C3 direct fit muffler, so your idea of taking it to a shop to have the inlet pipe bent is a good one. This way they can bend the inlet pipe so there is enough clearance between the quarter panel and they can tuck it up closer to the body. They will have a turndown for the outlet as well. You'll need the shortest body (13") with offset inlet and outlet.

Good one! Don't you need to drive it to the muffler shop with open exhaust? Have fun!

That's how I drove mine to the shop. Open headers. Sounded like a race car, until the local police followed me the last three blocks to the muffler shop. He was all ready to turn on his party lights but I never touched the gas just rolled to the shop, lucky it was all down hill

Dunno if this helps, but last summer I had Flowmaster Super 44's put on, they were a perfect fit, and the guy bent all the pipes to spec.

Flowmaster 44's sound just as good if not better than original 40's. (I've got the 40's on my 05 GTO)

Default Vader vette

Just got back from Jegs and monroe muffler 200.00 for the mufflers and $30 .oo bucks for some custom pipes. not to bad put a reg muffler on my gmc van and it was $180.00. so the Vette for $230.00 does not seem bad. they also weigh less than my old stock ones. next item electric fans.
