I have one. If you just add a chrome one to match your drivers side it will make the car look symmetrical but it is really hard to keep in usable adjustment. I was actually thinking of going to sport mirrors on my 73. Be very precise with your measurements. Once you poke the glass there is no turning back.
i have a 72 coupe and was thinking of putting a right side mirror on ,i was wondering if anyone has done this or is it a bad idea,
Previous owner of the '73 I just acquired put a right side mirror on when he rebuilt the car. I'm glad he did as I like having it. You might want to measure your left side mirror before ordering the right side. If I remember correctly the '75 and up mirrors had larger heads and some owners put them on the older Vettes.

Mine too at first. I took it off after adjusting it and put blue thread locker into the joint while keeping it in proper position to avoid dripping out. Once dry, I put it back on. Helped a bunch but it hasn't been long enough to know how often, if at all, I might have to redo it.
i bought the mirror at local vette shop it was only 50.oo it came complete with assembly hardware and template to install it took about 5 whole minutes the wife loves it she can now see backing up the driveway
