Went to the beach today to take some IR pictures. Took a couple of the vette just for fun, and thought I'd pass them along..

I used a Nikon D-100 that I had modified for infrared (removed the IR filter from the CCD array). no exterior filters needed anymore.

Very nice pics....I am originally from Niceville and take my 69 vette up there often. Those pics look like Okaloosa Island or Navarre? Next time I go up I will PM ya to see if there is anything going on like cruise-in's etc.

Those were taken on the Pensacola beach side of the protected seashore area between Navarre beach and Pensacola Beach. When they get the road finished between them later this summer, it will make for a good cruise when the beaches are connected again!

(Darn Hurricanes......)
