I was wondering if there is a way to clean up the lenses on the taillights and foglights. They are a little hazy, is there a way to restore those and get rid of the haziness?

Yes there is! The plastic lenses can be polished, much like paint and even glass. There are complete kits on the market for doing this.

Here is one offered by eastwood:

You could also use a powerball or mini power ball from mothers if you have the right polising compound.

Here is a link to autogeek's lens care items:

These are all good options to restore your original lenses.

If the polishing doesn't work try painting them clear,Chevy High performance recommended it several years ago.I did it 4 or 5 years ago and they still look good,no yellowing or peeling.Just clean the wax and dirt off.

I have on used a product for the windshields, on aircraft called Plexiglass Cleaner. It works on the short term and I just wipe it on and dry with a "cotton cloth" (it has a polishing effect on plastics). It is just a part of the car washing process now. Most Fixed Base Operations should carry this type of product, for poly-carbonate materials.

i used chrome polish and some kleenex. they looked like 40 year old plastic parts when i started, and now they look almost as good as new.
