Default 1981 spare tire
Have had my 81 up on a rack and have never seen a spare tire. Thing rides real low, so am wondering if there is one under there. I've seen a lot of posts about spares on an 81 and was hoping someone had a pic or diagram of where and how it is accessed. Thanks

In a plastic clamshell like holder under rear of car. I believe its a 3/4" bolt that you unscrew and clamshell opens downward.

I took mine out, and replaced it with a can of fix a flat. Looks real clean underneath it now when viewed from behind... the exhaust was removed for side pipes also though.
