Default compartment paint

What paint did you use on the engine compartment? Really looks nice against that motor.

The engine bay is painted with Mar-Hyde black satin. Nice paint, just straight into the gun and shoot. No mixing or thinning required.

Everything is outstanding. I would like to down load a pic and add to a engine bay folder.

OMFG, If I saw wheel wells looking like that I would have turned the other way and run, very very far away.

It is a credit to you to have brought it back, how long has the project been going for you so far?

Thanks Guys.

I've been at the project for nearly 2 years now. The body came off with a fight and every piece on the frame had to be sand blasted and restored or replaced with new.

It's been a lot of fun so far and getting better now that I'm in the home stretch

You guys "down under" who do the left hand/right hand drive conversion deserve tons of credit for that task. Comparatively, cleaning up a little rust issue is a piece of cake.

Thanks for the comments though.

Nice work, very impressive. Did you rebuild the diff and trailing arms yourself as well?

The differential and transmission went out to a friend who owns a transmission shop. My brother in law and I rebuilt the trailing arm assemblies ourselves.
