title question
i was looking at my title today and under modle for my 79 it says zr1 is that just how these cars are listed??? im not sure i was just curious on this because i could have sworn it was suspose to say corvette. what does everyone elses say?

opps lol i just realized what i did.. i was looking on the internet at zr1's my title says z87... but is it suspose to say that or corvette.. is my main question...

My '76 said S6J or something like that. I couldn't figure out what that meant. I asked the lady at the DMV and she didn't know. As long as the VIN matched, that's all that mattered to me.

Look at the first 4 digits of your VIN. It will say 1Z87xxxxxxx. The 1 is for Chevy, Z is for Corvette, and 87 is for coupe. Thus the z87 is saying Corvette coupe.
