Default Birdcage and frame differences

I have a 71 that I'm getting ready to do a frame off on. I bought a 70 rolling chassis because my frame is questionable. I also bought a birdcage from a 74, I was hoping that there wasn't any difference (or much) so that I could mount my 71 glass to the 74 b-cage. Anybody have any info on any prob's I might run into. I read in another post the frame mounting points/perches might be different. Anybody have any insight?

as far as the bcage is concerned youll have to modify the lower corners. there is a thread on either on here or the u.k forum where someone used the corners from a 75 on their 70 i believe

I've seen that before but my question is more towards the bcage issue. As if there were going to be any mounting or alighnment issues to address. Thanks for the info.

That is an awesome page. It has lots of info. I will contribute whatever I can to it, just as soon as I get going... IMO what it really needs is a 3D model with a year-picker.

Thanks,
Chris
