I've been busting my $%& on my '82 for a little over a month now: trailing arm assembly, brakes/calipers & etc, pump, filter, fuel hoses, Rear seal & etc, trans gasket, valve gaskets, adjustable strut rods, f&b shocks ... well you get my point. I dropped more than I'd like to admit but the Vet runs SWEET(!) and it's getting better every day.
Today I had a blast while driving and it made it all worth wile. It ran sweet, everything worked, well aside from the... I digress. Bottom line, was it worth it, YES it was. ... and theres more to go.

it took me 3 years to take my 61 from basket to roadtesting ,i didn;t want to stop driving, i just finished a 72 coupe for my wife ,it took 2 years ,she said it was all worth the time and money i spent on it ,now she loves that car
It's not about the money I have $30K in a 72 and it's worth $22K
But I did all the work. At least I have the 71 to cruise around in, while I'm working on the green one
