Power antenna hell-pp
To skip a lot of steps and just go to the problem new radio all hooked up works fine
Now I have power at the power antenna relay, the relay clicks when you turn it on and when you turn it off there is power on both sides of the relay, but no power at the wires at the antenna. ???? If the relay is working and the power switches back and forth for the antenna there should be power back there yes???
As well the wires coming from the old radio for the antenna and the wiring harness are orange and brown how are they involved as the are not hooked up but everything back to the relay work and the relay turns off and on????

From your description you need that orange wire hooked up. THAT is the actual power wire to the antenna and is always hot. The hot lead coming from the radio(is it yellow?) is the trigger that tells it up or down. That's probably what you hear clicking the relay.
What radio did you install? A factory or aftermarket?
Did the antenna work before?
Not sure for your year but the brown might be a hot for the memory in the etr radios available in 80-82s.
