2008 C-1????
I was driving down the highway the other day with my son and I though I saw a red c-1 coming up in my side view. I told my son to check it out as he passed us but something was wrong. This car was too low and wide to be a c-1 but it looked just like one. Then I thought it was my mirror screwing up the car image out but my mirrors don't do that. Then as he passed I noticed the modern wheels, seats and windshield trim. The rake on the windshield was pretty extream too but there was the white paint in the concave portion of the door and fenders. This car was definately longer, wider, and lower than a stock c-1. It was also a convertible and he passed me pretty fast and then dove into an off ramp like he had no fear of the turn and stopping at the end. Any ideas about what I saw? Could it have been a kit on a c-5 or 6 frame?

Yeah, I think its a kit on a c5 vert. I don't know what they are called but I like them except for the rear. The last one I saw kept the c1 rear tail lights and they looked a little funky imo. Try doing a search because I have seen pics of them posted here before.
