Default 73 ran good

Just returned from a 923 mile trip with my 73 and was very happy at how well it ran. Not one problem on the trip and 17.5 MPG overall for the trip. Couldn't be happier with the car. Miles were put on in two days of driving, there and back. Life is good.

Great numbers and sounds like you had a great trip in the vette. I would be tickled to get those numbers on a stock vette. Most people would not attempt that trip in the vette but would have no problem driving the DD. Congrats to you for pulling this one off.

That sounds like a great trip. I love taking my 73 on long road trips.

Don't have a trailer so I guess I'll continue driving it. New seat foam and stock seat covers makes it very comfortable.

Sounds like a good trip and time.
My 73 does not 'travel' much over 30 miles at a time. When I took it to Carlisle in 2004 it got about 16 on the trip. I have an automatic L-82 w/3.55:1 rear end.

Great trip, I took the 73 to a show a few weeks ago, 275 mile round trip.
I got 16.5 per mile, 350 GM crate/300 hp
She did great till the air went out, blew the inline fuse
