what is the deal with the hash marks like the ones on the grand sports i know the represent two wins at lemans or somthing but should people put them on c3s?
I don't see why not. Better another vette with the marks than a mustang or whatever. Never seen a C3 with the marks. Anyone got a pic? Maybe thats what mine needs

Depends on the look you're going for. Don't think they'd look appropriate on a stock 75+. these are actually from a C5. I get a lot of compliments on them.
AS I UNDERSTAND IT, THE FACTORY RACETEAMS PUT DIFFERENT HASH MARKS ON THE TEAM CARS SO THEY COULD TELL WHICH CAR WAS COMING INTO THE PITS. AT FIRST THEY COULDN'T TELL THE CARS APART FROM THE FRONT, SO THE SOLUTION WAS TO DO DIFFERENT HASH MARKS ON EACH CAR.
HOPEFULLY, SOMEONE MORE KNOWLEDGABLE CAN GIVE US SOME MORE INFORMATION.
What do you guys think of these? I just did this, these are actual authentic GM decals made for the Ron Fellows Edition 2007 Corvette ZO6's! Since Ron is a fellow Canadian, I wanted to pay my tribute to him for doing so much for the factory Corvette race team.

I didn't think I would like them on a C3- till I saw your vette. Looks sharp!

Basically true, counting the hash marks identified which Vette was present on the track
