Default rear diff size question
if the car is new to you, is there a way to tell what diff you have in?

The unit should be cast iron and specific to corvette.

At the bottom of the diff' rear cover should be code mark.
OK - 3.08
OM - 3.36
OH - 3.55
OJ - 3.70
The other way is to jack up the rear and turn the wheel one turn and see how many turn makes the driveshaft.
