Devil in my ac
Own 80 Vette modified 350 cam, heads,headers,carb,350 turbo with shift kit, not looking to break any speed records. I have been working on the darn ac and can`t find the problem. Have bought compresor,hoses,driers (more than one) orfice tubes had condenser cleaned twice all say is in good condition,replaced evaporator core, also purchased two types vaccum pumps one motor driven one compressor driven, system was coverted to R134a and was working except for a slow leak. Problem is in trying to add freon it will not accept more than a half a can motor off, motor on evaporator inlet freezes solid have diassembled and checked replaced all vaccum systems hoses and accuators. Had car in shop this week payed for repair and still no ac, it is hot in Houston Tx. Has anybody been there other than me? Hell
