Window regulator gear...repair or replace

Window regulator gear...repair or replace
It always seems to happen, doesn't it? I start to change over to different door glass just to find out the electric window hardware is ruined.
Has anyone used the repair end gear (it bolts against the old teeth) for their electric window regulator, instead of replacing the whole arm?
My motor gears need replaced, Wilcox has a good price on those, but the large gear on the arm is damaged also. It looks like the bolt on replacment would be easier to use if it works ok.....anyone ever use 'em?

I put on a set for a friend once, its actually More work, not less since you have to take the thing out and put it back in in addition to fitting the gear. I replaced the entire arm on both of my own cars. Personally I wouldn't use the kit again unless $ is an issue
