Default Switch under dash, what does it do!!!
Anyone know what the switch just to the left of the override cluster connects to, this is on a 70 vert 350/300. The switch is a push/pull (short throw) type connected to a cable. So I am thinking it mechanically opens/closes something I just don't know what.

Any thought would be aprreciated.

Thanks guys, trip reset is it. But, due to age of the mechanism it is quite fried. Only trip I need to know are how far to the next filling station.

At least yours works. Mine is frozen with 38 years of surface rust, and at nearly 65 bucks for a little cable, it's gonna stay that way for now!
