Default Intake date code

Can anyone help with the location of the date code for a 3937797 427 intake? Thanks.

This is from my early 69 SB 350, but it should be just above it, to the left.

J = October
26 = 26th
8 = 1968

If that is 435 hp tripower aluminum, I think the date code is underneath, and under the heat shield (riveted on) -- Not apparent, not judged.

Hmmmm, I had a look, but I don't think it's in the same spot as your intake. Thanks for the help.

That's what I thought...thanks for the confirmation!

Are there any date codes on the carbs? How are they shown?

May I suggest that you buy the NCRS Technical Information and judging guide, full of information and cheap (you don't have to join NCRS to buy it).

Carbs have stamped codes, I think on fuel bowl or main body, apparent when installed. First set of numbers is use code, second set is date codes. 3 digits on originals, I think it is 2-digit month, last digit year. If 4-digit date codes, they are later replacements (~'70+), I think first 3-digits are julian day, fourth digit is year.
