me too but just one guy....he parked an F250 about 3 inches from my passenger door and I was the only car parked out at least 3 rows behind the rest of the cars. We had words...as I watched him do it while eating my lunch...i'm one of those that not only turns back to look at the car while walking away, but I also find a window seat and watch it from a distance if possible.

That has never happend to me with my vette but it has happend with other cars of mine. One time when I cam out from a store there was a sh*t box parked next to my truck and a scatch from it's door.....needless to say I was mad...the owner was not around for me to have a chat but lets just say that persons vehicle needed some body work after I was done
I would never attack someones ride with out them around but the owner was not there and I was not a happy camper.

I do that too. And I always park far away in the lot, and I usually try to get under a light, but still some moron ALWAYS parks right next to me. I don't know if they just want to look at the car or if they're jealous, but I'll be a good 10 empty spaces out from any other car, and it never fails that every time I walk out, my car is no longer alone...

From the other side, nothing pisses me off more than when I am in a crowded parking lot and some ricer parks in 3 spots. I used to drive a beat up Wrangler and would pull w/in 2 inches of them and climb out over the side. Never did any damage, just spooked them.

I actually had to wait for someone to come out of a store to move their car so I could get in mine. The other person who was about parked against the passenger side dinged my car so he ended up with a spark plug against his back tire. Bet he thought that was a freak accident getting a flat from a spark plug as he backed up.

I don't think it's the drivers. I think it is the other cars. The cars are jealous and they move close to the vette. Kind of like how a real pretty woman attracts all the attention at the bar. They just NEED to get closer.

I use to park way at the end of a Walmart parking lot in the end slot, with one side of the car against the curbing. One day I came out and found a young couple getting out of a brand new Lexus parked right next to my Vette. As we passed by each other, the couple said they hoped I didn't mind they parked next to me ... but they said they knew I would respect their car as much as they respected mine and wouldn't slam my door against their new car.
Both cars survived another parking lot with out a door ding.

Safety Car
I parked way out in the lot, with no one around. I come back to the car and there was a shopping cart against the door, with a nice scratch on the door from it. I can only think someone intentionally rolled the cart from the lot to see if they could hit my car, which they did.
