whats the best way to fix fiber glass that isnt going to cost a fortune and is quick and somewhat easy to do. b/c on my 78 where the antenna is at the guy that i bought it off of switched it to the other side so now theres a hole where the antenna used to be. and on the front it looks like the fiberglass started to peel up. any suggestions?
You gotta feather the edges of the hole so it's nice and big this it so the glass mat has something to bond to, then fill the hole with fiberglass mat ( use the non woven stuff ) , build it up till it's almost level with the body.
Use short strand filler to finish it up, then prime sand and paint as usual

I bought the fiberglass repair DVD Vol 1 & 2 from ecklers and once i get to that point in my restoration I will have no problem doing a couple of glass repairs to the car based on what I learned from the DVD's.
