what is the AIR emissions and how much of a problem is it not being there?
Congratulations on your new big block It looks great. The "Air Injection Reactor" is part of your emissions and it's absence won't affect the car's performance. It's just one less belt robbing horsepower. Unless you're going to have it judged you don't need it. They were routinely tossed by most owners when the cars were new. Good luck with your new Vette

Cool, i figured that is what it was,

I was reading about it and apparently it pumps fresh air into the exhaust, kinda like a new style egr. Did I get that part right?

I talked to the vette dealer about it and he says that it has oem style manifolds on it but no tubes for the hoses.

Also the AC belt is not on it. Did the AC and AIR run off of the same belt. That would explain why the AC belt is gone if the previous owner took off the AIR pump and didnt bother with a delete kit.

(is there a delete kit)

No. The A/C belt was separate from the A.I.R pump belt. Look at your trim tag on the from drivers side door post. The trim tag code, a 3 digit number will differentiate between standard interior and custom interior.

I'm sure your bouncing off the walls waiting for it...Beautiful car...be cautious on the side pipe decisions..yes they do look really cool..factor in the fact they are loud and hot and somewhat of a PIA...specifically the hooker style

Flame away sidepipe guy's...
