I Have A Ac Delco Am/fm Cb Radio Out Of My 79 Just Wondering If Anyone Knows What The Value Is . A Local Guy Is Offering Me 100.00 But He Is Really Anxious. Thanks

According to the Corvette Black Book, RPO UP6 AM/FM stereo w/CB was a $439 option with 4483 being installed in production cars during the '79 model year.

Value...whatever someone is wiling to pay. I have no idea a fair price to ask. Do you know whether or not the thing works properly? If you don't know, take the money offered and run!

There is one on ebay now from a 1978. Starting bid request $229.
Doesn't mean he will sell it though but why not watch the sale and see what happens.

100 sounds too cheap. I've yet to see a picture of one posted here, on the forum. I would do some research before I sold it. 300 minimum though, w/o research.

You could always say "$100 sounds a little low. I think I'll check around online and see what they are selling for on ebay." and see if he ups his offer. You could sell for a bit less than the average ebay price to avoid the hassle of shipping.
