No it's a decal too of his actual signature. I always get "how did you talk Zora into crawing on his stomach to sign that?" lol, but I did get to meet Zora at Carlisle in Aug. '95 and he did sign some things for me. He passed away just eight months after that. Miss him.

Best two/tone color of all to me. I bought mine new in 81. 4 speed autumn red over dark claret like yours. I was in my 20's and there were several guys in their 40's at the dealership when I picked her up close to dusk. They were green with envy and it made me feel great!LOL Lots of memories. Yours still looks excellent. I didn't realize I had already posted a reply. Thats what happens when you get senile. Don't let it happen to you.

Don, Mine was purchased new in Omaha! How long did you own it for? This could get spooky!!!! I have all the records back at home. (I'm weathering out the winter in AZ with a C7).

Hey John- I purchased mine from Huber Chevrolet who are still in business. I only kept it a little over 3 years but it had 75000 on the clock and I never took a long trip in it. To say I loved driving that car is an understatement. It turned a lot of heads back in the day. Still get on line sometimes and look for one like it.
I just bought this beauty. 2000 original miles! Everything was pretty well maintained. Not a squeek when it rolling down the road. Completely factory correct except the pace car decal on the door. It is not placed correctly.
Recently acquired this beauty. Started life as a white car but somewhere along the way she got some color…
needs paint correction and polish for the oxidation. Post-pics to follow…
love the stripes! Man that took some time!
