I have a 79 L-82. I'm replacing major parts of the air conditioning except for the compressor which is working fine. My problem starts with replacement hoses that lead from the compressor to the evaperator and the compresor to the condenser. My old system had two seperate lines. The new replacement hose(1)are connected near the compressor and the angle makes them unusable for me. Does anyone know if they made two different system (hoses) for that model. I can't find anything on the web
Thanks,

I'm assuming you are talking about the manifold that connects at the back of the compressor.
If yours had single line connections thats the way it should stay.
Have you tried having a local A/C shop make new lines for you?

Exactly...... I was hoping to do it all at once, but alas I need some professional help.....Just thought some one may have had a similar problem.
Thanks again
