Default Engine Mount Shim? (See pic)

I posted this issue a while back, but just to remind everyone, I had an issue with the LHS side pipe being too low (it was parallel with the frame). I ended up making a 9/16" engine mount shim as shown in the pic below in effort to rotate the engine upward on the LHS and take the header & side pipe with it. The shim was based of the thickest I could go and still have the header clear the bottom of the frame rail. Now, the side pipe is not exactly parallel with the frame, but nothing too noticeable. It brought the end up so that I could at least attach the thing (I still can't get the middle bolt to line up).Any thoughts or repercussions I could expect to see if I just left it this way?

Here's where it was...

Was it just a problem with the one side? I got the same unit and didnt have this problem, it might be that the header itself is not true, try calling jet hot, you may be better off in the long rung getting another header. the othe option though albeit not the best would be to try to
use the side to to bend the primaries down to paralell.
