Mine has a switch on the clutch pedal under dash. Don't know if that is what your looking for.

autos are on the passenger side of the shifter. manuals are on the drivers side of the tranny, usually near where the shift rods connect.

Default Neutral Safety Switch Locations

If you have a manual transmission, it is on the clutch-brake pedal assembly housing, behind the clutch pedal.

For the automatic transmission in my 78, it is attached to the shift lever mechanism in the center console. In this drawing, it is part of the shift indicator switch - the arc-shaped component with 4 wires attached.
