interior dome light help 79
putting car back together after major restoration. I put new bulbs in the 2 foot well lights and the over head dome light. now when i turn the light switch to the left they all light up nice, but not when i open the door. the door switches look to be fine but they will not work. any clue or anything i can check to see where it is going wrong?

Check your grounds. The door switches are opposite those of metal bodied cars. In metal cars the door switches are self grounding...the switch is cold until the door opens then the circuit is closed.
Vette door switches are the opposite...they have current all the time and opening the doors completes the ground circuit.
Sounds like one or both have ground issues.

it could be the delay timer. if it has one, this may help, check out the wiring diagram
