The inner headliner panel on one of my 79's t-tops has fallen off.
I see it has 4 small round black plastic 'puck' contact points, which obviously need glue for the repair.
The question is, which glue is least likely to fail? I've generally had bad luck with almost all adhesives.
Thanks!

Those 'pucks' are prehistoric vel-cro. Shouldn't need glue, but if they're not attaching like they should, you might try contact cement. Anything stronger (epoxy, etc) would mean tearing stuff up should you ever need to disassemble the T-tops.
If you use epoxy make a note in your records that this was used and if you ever need to take the liner off you will remember that you will have to cut them down;that you cannot just gently pull them off.
Same thing happened to my 79 last summer. I used black silicone rubber and clamped the headliner until the silicone set up. Silicone will stretch and be removable if need be in the future. It has held for over a year in many temp extremes with no issues.
I had terrible luck with glue. Tried epoxy amd other things and over time, the heat got to them all. Finally, got fed up and just put rivets through small holes to hold the velcro pucks in place. No problem after that.
Thanks guys, I really appreciate it.
I wondered about using the silcone mentioned above, as once it's set up, it is pretty strong...
Will make a decision this weekend and try out one of the suggestions.
All the best.
You should epoxy the fasteners in their original positions, not joined together. If you ever need to remove the liners in the future they will come off as intended.
