Default What me a snob!?!

Hey Guys,

EDIT** My wording about being a snob may be taken out of context... I have love for all Cars!! **

Well, ever since I got my Corvette a few weeks ago, I find myself feeling a a bit snobbish... I see other Muscle cars, Camaro, Firebirds, Mopars..etc and I loved those cars when I was in high school.
But now in my head, I think my Vette still kicks *** and don't get me started about Imports, My Vette still needs more TLC but I love it so far.

Anyone else ever feel the same, Is it cause i'm a noob Vette owner?
I hope it passes.

I'm also Asian so that make it sweeter that I DON'T drive a Super Ricer.

Oh and my DD is a Nissan Sentra. LOL

If your a snob, so am I! I had a 74 Camaro years ago as my daily driver in high school. Loved and thought it handled great. Now I know that the C3 Vette will run circles around the Camaro. Handles much better and rides better. Wouldn't want a Camaro, Chevell, or Mustang now!

I did get a thumbs up and a wave today from a couple early 20 somethings in a ricer. Made me feel good that they like an old car. They even put their windows down as I went by so they could hear the Hookers!

Its understandable why you would feel a little cocky, but don't be one of those self-important smugs that makes the rest of us look bad. Just remember, right around the time you start looking down your nose at an "ordinary" US muscle car, an Italian sports car owner will start making you feel bad.

PS, it's "Camaro."

Stock for now...
Till I decide what I want to do to it.

Anyways I tend to see average folks shy away... I think its cause Vettes look mean and FAST.. so that helps.
I don't have to race on the streets.

Eh I'm with you to. When I see other sports cars on the road I size them up and kinda feel snobish(but in a good way). But I also know I can smoke most of the street cars around here(mine is very far from stock) so it's all good.

I bought a 69 Z28 Camaro in 1972.....great car. It never gave me goosebumps...........traded it for a 66 Corvette Vert.....never looked back.

If only I had kept both of them........who knew.

Nothing wrong with a little bit of snobbery, just don't let it get out of hand. We all know our Vette's are just so cool, they flaunt them selves. What ever the ride, remember that owner is JUST as proud, though maybe a bit jealous. Be humble, you'll have a lot more friends.
