Default I need help identifying a part

Hi all. I've been hanging around this forum for some time and need some assistance identifying a part. Not sure exactly what it is.

Can anyone tell me what this part is and exactly where it should be mounted?

I only know it's an electrical part and it goes somewhere under the center console.

Thanks in advance for any and all help. I'm all

Looks like a power window relay, look in the factory build manual under the power window options page it shows a relay like that mounted under the console

I have that page, but it didn't have a detailed enough picture to determine if it was for that or something else. It does connect in the same general area as the diagram shows. Only thing is, the wire colors to what it plugs into don't match my wiring diagram. As far as I can tell anyway.....

Thanks for the help guys! I can always get my questions answered here.

Have a great week!

Sure looks familiar but cant place it.If its from your 78 its not the power window relay because a 78 doesnt have a relay for the windows.Hmmm
edit-oops sorry the 78 did have a relay and the number of wires is right on the relay in the the pic...they dropped the relay in 79

Agreed as well. It is a power window relay that is inside the shifter console.

Thank you all so much for your replies. I think I've got it now. Working on the interior right now. Just starting on the center console. I'll try to post some pics as I go if anyone's interested in seeing my progress.

Thanks again.

When you click the picture link above you start getting pop up messages saying someone has a crush on you. I think it's an ad for a dating service.

Email me and I can set you up with some programs that might narrow down the problem and possibly keep you from having to buy another laptop.
