i won a.....
its time to put the vette away for this weekend....
in a company golf tournament last week i won a free 4 day rental of a Lamborghini Gallardo Spyder.
I had a choice of the above, or the Gallardo (non convertible), a Ferrari F430, and a F430 Spider.
I get it tomorrow morning at 10:30.
Im so excited, im just about as excited as I was when I went to go pick up my '78 right after I bought it.
These are pics of the actual car they are bringing me.

Top Speed - 202 MPH

I have a neighbor that has one of those, same color. I can hear it coming up the hill to my house, when it goes by I can still hear it when he's a couple of miles away...
It was funny how I met him. He had his 5 Y.O. son in a car seat next to him. It's a hard top with the tilt up doors. I almost backed into him getting out of my driveway in my truck since the Lambo sits so low and I didn't see him coming from the right side. I apologized and he said it would have been OK, he needed the insurance money!!
Have fun, enjoy the ride as much as you can. Hopefully they gave you a free gas card...I recall he said he gets about 10 MPG. I hope they are covering you on their insurance too....

I saw one of those as I was cruising dowwntown Fayetteville last weekend. It was parked in front of the restaurant section. As I drove by, slowly, all eyes on the street left the lambo and went to my bright red Stingray. . . . and stayed there. True story!

That is one sweet ride. Not too many people get a chance to get behind the wheel of a $200,000+ vehicle, let alone for 4 days. The only rig I have had much seat time in that was in that ballpark, is a Pisten Bully Edge snow cat. It's bright red, German, powerful, fun to drive, and about $250,000, but not quite the same kind of fun. I don't have the 0-60 specs on it but I think it's a bit slower than the Gallardo. It will sure go a few more places though. Make sure you get the insurance, it will be worth it. Have fun. I'm jealous for sure.

man, last outing I played in...I won the longest drive and longest putt contests both in one day and got a new bag, and a putter, which didn't make sense at all as I obviously did just fine with my current putter lol. Was this a raffle prize or did you dunk a hole in one for that?! Congrats cuz that is awesome!
