Default 1970 badge question

I've been looking at catalogues and for the nose badge there are two available.

The only difference is that one of them starts with white in the chequered flag, the other one starts with black in the chequered flag, i.e.: the chequered flag colours are reversed.

What's the difference? What does it mean?

My car has the black first...

The first top left square should be black for a 70.

demonx,

1971 model year was unique, in that the checkered cross flag emblem had the white colored square at the top left corner near the flag pole. '68, '69, '70 & '72 were reversed.
