Default Need help reading vin and engine #s.THX

HI again,

In need of some help reading the following Stamp and Vin #. My previous posting is below, please comment on it as well. I’m still looking at this car and have gotten all the following #s.

VIN#194371S102777
Stamp Pad CGZ C11S102777

“Including what is stated below, I know the following as well.
Fully adjustable monoleaf front and rear suspension system with light weight
H/D Upper and Lower control arms, H/D gas shocks, smart rear struts
Black Vinyl soft top
57236 miles on odometer (TMU)”

Also, P/S, A/C and heating system are added
Differential and Trani are not original

Hello my fellow Corvette Heads;

I am looking at the following car. Below is the description;

"1971 Corvette Convertible, (987)Ontario Orange/(403)Black Leather Interior/Black Convertible Top, 350/LT-1/330H.P. Numbers Matching, 4-Speed (M-21) Manual Transmission, Options Include: LT-1/330H.P.Engine, 3.70:1 Positraction Differential, 4-Speed M-21 Close Ratio Transmission, B.F.Goodrich Radial-TA on Rally Wheels, Black Leather Trim Interior, Custom Shoulder Harness, AM/FM Pushbutton Stereo Radio. Aftermarket Options Include: A/C, P/S, Front & Rear Fiberglass Springs, & MSD Ignition".

Here are some pics;

I've driven the car and it drives well. Its pretty clean for an almost 40yr. old car. The trani is not original, but the block is. The odometer has 55K on it, but it cant be verified. The original paint was Ontario Orange, and this car has been re-painted the correct Ontario Orange. It has some cracks in the paint, but overall in good shape. There are no cracks in the fiberglass frame. It is a 3 owner car at this point. No rust anywhere. The interior is in really good shape.

What do you guys think a fair price should be for this LT1? What else should I be asking or looking for. Need your help, please. Thx.

Default Respond,

Thx a million for all that info-

My bad on the typo, the Stamp Pad reads, CGZ C11S102777- (the C is still there, might be a typo sent from the dealer)

Here are the PICS again as well. Any guesses on a fair price also?

Thanks Again,

Ardy

Default Respond,

THX again.

The dealer is asking 40K. I know that's too high. There's definitely room to move. But I wanted to be sure on the car before I start negotiating.

What do you think is a too high, fair or a great deal. I’ll try to get a pics of the pad next week and post it.

Man I love this forum.

THX.

Both the original tranny and rear end are gone but not the block?
The description also says "matching numbers" and not "original engine or block", so that would open the door to a restamped block.
Need more pictures, but does it pass all the other tests for an LT-1?
No documentation?

HOLD EVERYTHING

VIN#194371S102777 The 37 in the vin says that this car is a coupe not a vert. It should be a 67 for a vert.
