I'm getting ready to redo the tired interior in my 77. It currently has red carpet and red dash. The door panels, headliners, trim, sun visors, and seats are all white. I'm thinking seriously of doing the entire interior in all red. If anyone has a red Vette with an all red interior, it would be great if you could post a picture so that I could get a visual image of how it will look. I've seen white Vettes with all red interiors, but never a red Vette with all red. Trying to get a mental picture of it. Thanks,
Kenny
I've not seen an all red car but I did see a red one awhile back that had a combination of red and black for an interior. Looked pretty sharp. If I had ended up with red, I was going to look into a gray or silver interior. Either way, your Vette will look sharp.
My second Vette was a blue '77 with a blue interior. The whole car was blue, and the whole interior was blue. It was just too much blue.
I agree with Durango boy it would be to much red. I have a red 79, and I did the inside black. I have seen a red vette done with the inside black and red and it look real good.
Nice car but me tooo....can't imagine all red.
Might be cool for a day or two as a novelty but I think you'd get tired of it. Not to mention what'cha gonna do when it fades later?
I have a 77 that is just like that.
I really don't like the white.
I was planning on painting the ttop panels, windshield trim, and possibly even the door panels red, leaving the seats white.
The trim code on mine says red interior even though this was a factory option.
The windshield trim and tops panels just make the interior too bright, but in S Florida the sun is really strong too.
My interior was supposed to be White and Firethorn. The previous owner made it all Red. I personally do not like all red interiors so I am going to change min back eventually. Do you have any Pics of your interior you could share? Thanks
My car was Red on Red when I got it. I didn't car for it. It was Silver on red from the factory. I stripped the car and it is now in primer and has a black interior. Plenty more paint color options available with a black interior than with red in my opinion. I thought about keeping the red, but I have to admit I like the black much better. I think the car looks tougher, more like a muscle car with the black than with red.

Thanks for the replies guys. Gave me some ideas. Wife and I are going to the Delta River car show again this year in Tunica and this time we'll be specifically checking out the interiors on all the Vettes. After reading you guys' post, I'm leaning toward everything red except the seats, maybe leaving them white. However that black and red doesn't sound like a bad combo either. Decisions, decisions! Whatever I end up with, it'll probably look better than what I have because it'll be all new stuff. Thanks again.

Thanks for posting the pictures of your car Paul. I had admired it in other post, but never seen the interior before. Very nice car. Now that I see the red door panels with the red dash, it looks right. I have the red dash with white door panels, and it just looks mismatched to me, although I believe it came from the factory this way. After seeing the all red color scheme put together on your car, it's starting to grow on me. Thanks for posting.

Our '68 is Rally Red with all red interior. Came that way, which I'm told is a little unusual. But I like it and have gotten many positive comments over the years. This car also came with redline tires. So whoever ordered it like red I guess!
