Just bought a weinand 9208 water pump from summit and after installing went to put pully's on and they rub on the pump so I called weinand tech support and they said they were haveing pully clearance issue with some of there Chevy small block pumps he wanted me too talk to Q/C guy but he never called me back talk to summit and they want to sell one of there summit brand pumps for 20.00 more so at this pont I am waiting on Q/C guy from weind to call me any one had pully clrearnce issues with SBC pump from weinad out there

I'm sorry I had a good laugh at the few different spellings of Weiand. I used to have trouble deciding how to pronounce it too, and I guess this just struck me funny. Weinand - Weind - Weinad - !!!
The Q/C guy will probably suggest they exchange it for another of the same pump. It's probably a problem with the way it's designed and all of them will leave you with some rubbing.
To be perfectly honest, the GM replacement pump is more than fine for most stock applications and even modified small blocks. I would recommend just getting a factory replacement pump that you know will fit and you can get it locally.
LOL my typing is not the greatest my brain goes faster than my fingers can and of course even if i read it before is post I never catch them all I have to laugh myself sometimes
