Has anyone had any experience with Uniroyal tires? I was told that they were made by Michelin. I'm in desperate need of new rubber and was quoted a great price on them.
225/70/15?

Uniroyal (or more specifically Uniroyal-Goodrich Tire Company) is a subsidiary of Michelin.
What size tire are you looking for? Unfortunately there aren't many choices in anything that fits a 15" wheel.
I had TigerPaws on my car for 10 years and wasn't impressed with them. I have good old Radial TAs on it now, simply because it's impossible to find 15" performance rubber.
All the best tire technology is being invested in the bigger sizes...that's where the market is now. 15" sizes for our cars is more or less obsolete for all intents and purposes. The tire makers pretty much make occasional runs of tires to service that small market segment, but don't invest funds and technology for such a small return.
I believe eventually the sizes we need will be left to the specialty tire makers like Coker, but that is a ways down the road.
For the sizes we need for our C3's, the BFG Radial T/A seems to be a good standard. I've had them and liked them. I also like the Cooper Cobra and the Dunlop Qualifier GT. I haven't had experience with others but others can give their experiences.
