I agree, a 409, they called them the "W" engine for a reason!

348. Also known as the Mark I Big Block or W motor. Produced for 1958 to 1961 in cars and through 1964 in trucks

Driver's side dipstick makes it a 348. (thanks to the old wiki).

yup! its a good thing I watched "horsepower" this weekend, or I wouldent have known that, or that it even looked like a 409

How about that? I knew it was a "W" series motor and learned something today on what to look for to ID it correctly.
