no console
anybody see a 78 with no console in it? just carpet with a shifter boot. i did that to mine and i think it looks pretty cool ill post up some pics 2maro. im 1 and i think i did a pretty good job doing all the carpet n insulation so give me thumbs up or thumbs down 2maro when i post sum pics

i think its a good idea but what did you do about the gap between the Instrument Cluster Bezel and the floor? lets see them pics

i did the stripped down thing my self, and got rid of the carpet. i rather like the barren look.

lol i meant to say 15. and y all the complaining about the english? but w/e. its a project and im getting all new dash and bezel n seats and everything but here is how it is today. and im saying this now i dont care wat u guys think im 15 and its my first car and im having fun with it so here you go.

Actually that's pretty good work. I am a detail guy and I hope you figure out a way to incorporate the gauge bezel into the trans tunnel somehow so there won't be huge gaps or wiring showing. Other than that is seems to be shaping up nicely.

thanks, yea i was thinking about the bezel but im sure i can figure out somtin. ive seen corvettes 78s before with like custom ones where it attaches to the bottom one. idk ill try to keep yous updated on it tho

if it were me i would fiberglass, bondo and paint somthing to go between the gauge bezel and trans tunnel and put a 6" screen in there with a ps2 in the glove box or a gps. you get the idea
